Subject: Number of Mail.boxes not being created.
Feedback Type: Problem
Product Area: Domino Server
Technical Area: Functionality
Platform: Windows
Release: 8.5.2
Reproducible: -Reproducibility-

In the config doc for one of our servers, the "Number of mailboxes" is set to "3". That's the standard on every server in our domain. However, we have one server (8.5.2 HF25) which does not adhere to the config doc settings. There is only 1 mail.box file, and I can't get it to create 3.

I shut down the server, deleted mail.box, hoping it would create mail1.box, mail2.box, and mail3.box on startup. The very first thing it logs:
"05/05/2011 07:10:23 AM File not found or not a Notes database: D:\Lotus\Domino\data\mail.box: File does not exist"

The next mail.box message I get is "05/05/2011 07:17:49 AM Creating new mailbox file mail.box".

Why won't it recognize the number of mailboxes as 3 and create those? I checked the domino directory ON this specific server, and the config doc indeed says it should have 3 mailboxes for mail routing.

Any ideas?
